Video report from 97 Cdn Open in Winnipeg

MCA Secretary Cecil Rosner has recently posted a video report on the 1997 Canadian Open. The Open was held in Winnipeg and included 11 GM's, some of whom are (briefly) interviewed in the video.

Khedkar, spotted, 00:06 in to the movie, left hand side facing the camera, white shirt.
But seriously, I rather enjoyed that. Abe yanofsky, Psakis, Smirin, Shabalov, Hodgson, Sasikiran...The list goes on and on. It was particularly great to see Alburt Boxer again, A man I played hours of chess with at the downtown library. I would have paid $25.00 for that 10 minute history filled segment, but thanks to Exlam! online its free for the world!

What happened to the prestige?

HAHAHA. Everyone looked so much younger. Excpet Ole Hellsten. He looked identical back then as he does now. Maybe hes had that beard since he was 13.
